Inappropriate elimination! I feel like I am at work!
Comments (5)I think that maybe it's because she's such a busy kid. She probably is so busy playing and doing whatever that she doesn't want to take the time to go the bathroom and go, so she goes wherever it's more convenient. Also there is the issue of her seeing others going in different places and being allowed to on certain occasions. Maybe you need to explain in the best way possible that it's not always okay to do that. I know we have the problem with DS. He's learning that he can go in our yard if were outside but we have to stop him from doing it elsewhere. The best thing we could do was tell him to tell us he has to go before he does. That way we get him to the correct place and aren't in an embarrassing situation. I know what you're saying about people comparing kids. Your friend needs to realize that not all kids are the same. Many children don't focus on the same areas at the same time. While yours has maybe been more active, her daughter may have been more into verbal and social skills. It's normal for kids to be like this. So what if her daughter learned to go in the potty in a week and it's taking yours months? That's normal. Maybe it's time you did speak up once in awhile. Maybe say that she's your daughter and your decision or something? People walk all over you and overstep boundaries only because you yourself let them. It's hard to get to understand that because the good old Golden Rule taught us to treat others the way we wanted to be treated. These days it seems to not apply anymore. I'm sure it's becoming more stressful than fun when you go around your friend and maybe a talk would help that. If she can't respect you, then maybe she's not a good friend after all. I'm slowly learning this myself and it's making me feel better and life easier. Good luck. ~Leslie~...See MoreI feel like I just found the end of the rainbow...
Comments (4)I know just how you feel. I felt the same way when the new quilt shop opened up around the block from me last month. I'm still so excited, I offered to work for her...very part time...if she ever needed any help. It actually sounds like she might call....See MoreI feel like I have been left at the alter...
Comments (3)2. Is there anyway to go lower and have the spa spillway look nice without having to buy a dedicated pump for the spa? Yes, program a SPILLWAY so 100% of the water goes into the spa. Right now, you are cranking up the flow to get the desired effect but some is going to the pool. Try that. SPILLWAY is a circuit function. 3. I want to use feature 1 to tell the pump to kick into high speed when spa mode is actuated, but I can not figure how to do this. Nope, you can't program FEATURE 1 or 2. Assign the speed to SPA and when you hit spa it will kick up. Nope, same as above. Set it to any FEATURE (3-9) and call it SWEEP or whatever. You can make a custom name and call if George if you want, otherwise us the generic names available. 5. Does the pump programming override the indoor control panel, or does the control panel override the pump? The pump was supposed to come on this morning at noon, but did not. It seems like I have to use the controller to do this. Do I have to program the indoor controller too, or does the pump let it know what programs that I type in? You can program from the pump and as soon as you plug in the pump on the RS485 cable and are in AUTO, the pump display will indicate not active. It is then under control of the IT. If it is not coming on, you need to check the assignments and the programming. Make sure you have a POOL assignment. Keep in mind, most of your issues are in your IntelliTouch set-up. This is not a pump issue. It will work on its own. If you do not program the IT properly, it will take awhile to dial in but it will happen....See MoreI would like to apologize
Comments (3)Geez, Moni, did someone get upset that you forgot them? No one has a perfect memory and I hope you don't feel bad. I even had to think about my reply, and I've only met 3 kters...I think. I know you've met a whole lot more....See MoreAnne
