Comments (11)I have several pieces that I would be happy to send you! I've gotten mine at Van Buren State Park next to South Haven in the Spring/early Summer. I live in South Bend, about an hour away, but try to get there most Sundays. The beach also has a fair amount of rocks, fossils, petosky's and beach glass (my favorite) and best of all the DNR says take whatever you want! What part of Michigan are you in? Let me know if you're interested!...See MoreBecause you guys are the best...I ask for your help
Comments (1)Since you have a car with unknown service history, it would be a good idea to perform a complete service on the car. That way, you will can start fresh with a new history. I'm not sure how much change in coolant temperature is normal for your vehicle, but what you describe is beginning to appear a bit too much. However, if your weather is as hot as it is here, that may be normal. 1. Yet, I think it is a good idea to drain your coolant, flush and refill with fresh coolant plus water pump lube, and change the thermostat. 2. Replace the spark plugs and ignition leads. This is a good time of the year to do items 1 and 2 above while the weather is warm. Don't wait until frost arrives. Tire noise due to uneven wear often make sounds in sync with wheel speed, or a multiple of wheel speed. Wheel bearing noise makes a grinding sound and may not be synchonous with wheel speed. However, you have a Subaru and many of those have all wheel drives. The noise you hear may be in the drive line. If the noise is quiet while going straight, but increases while turning, suspect the front CV joints. If you have a transfer case, check the lubricant level in it. Inspect all joints in the drive line....See MoreFavor to ask my3dogs or others will such talent...
Comments (4)Sure - do you need before and afters? Finding all the befores may take a while.. Old CL bureau, $30, now vanity in basement bath. Painting and graining were damaged and needed to be filled in. Before is the ad pic. 1st floor powder room vanity. Was covered in a 1960's 'antiquing kit' when I bought it. Another CL $30 bureau; it was falling apart, although it looked great in this ad pic. See the filler? The stenciling on the drawers and both sides made me wonder what I had gotten into. These handles were in my cellar stash, having been taken off a long ago project. I didn't take a pic when it was finished, but a dentist bought this for her office! Not a bureau, but she also bought this - before - Almost done here. Faux marble painting on the top. Before - After - That's it for now! Thanks for asking....See Moreasking for a favor
