Garden flowers that don't make good cut flowers

Have you ever regretted cutting a flower from your garden to use in a flower arrangement?

Spiderwort (Tradescantia) doesn't work so well, for instance. The flowers sort of liquefy at the end of each day and end up as spots on your table.

What others have you had trouble with?
