Start here: Fabuwood thread

Zee M - I think a lot of people carry Fabuwood, so you shouldn't have trouble coming across it - it seems to be very popular. I found the following combinations: lower cost but not good service (in my opinion, although I'm very particular) and higher cost with better service. So basically, didn't find anyone that was "just right" for me. I kind of gave up and decided to go a different direction - I'm now planning to use Conestoga cabinets (higher quality for similar price, but RTA so you have to either put them together yourself or hire someone to do it for you). If you're willing to go with a little higher cost for better service, Corey with "Core Renovations" (East Northport) was very helpful - even offered advice after knowing we weren't going with them. Seems to be a very genuine guy! I'm not going to mention the names of people I wasn't happy with online, but you can message me with people you are considering if you want to cross-check.

Do a Google search. There have been several threads in this topic over the past couple of weeks. If you’re looking for inexpensive cabinets, IKEA is a better choice...much.

I put Fabuwood cabinets in my kitchen two years ago. They still look good and I’ve had no problem except one. The edge of one of the pantry doors has lost some paint. The picture I took of it is a closeup, you’d never see it from a distance, but it’s there. . Fabuwood is replacing the door. Mine are the Allure line in linen. The drawer glides work perfectly and so does the soft close. For the price, I’m very happy with them. I live in an over 55 community where a high end kitchen would be completely out of place. Choose your installer carefully. Other people here have said, and I agree, that the installer you choose is as important as the cabinets themselves.
