Help! Quick question. My baby Polar Gold Arborvitaes arrived just now.

Hi. I've had the holes dug and we've had fresh, native top soil all ready for these little trees. However, FedEx didn't deliver them til just a moment ago, and it's already started to rain. We have a major rain system arriving now, and it will be constantly raining til tomorrow night. I won't get a chance to plant these til Sunday morning, at the earliest. I mean, we're getting 2 inches of rain; a real soakfest!

What do I do with these little guys til then? Will it be okay to keep them in the house? The potting soil feels somewhat damp, but not wet. Should I water them? Will being in our house for 36 hours hurt them? Should I put them in a well-lit part of our house?

Thank you so much for your advice! My first conifers! I'm in love, already...
