MBT shoes - 'Fashion' ?
Comments (10)I just got an Avon cataloge Campaign 20 and they have knockoffs of these MBT shoes for $39.99/oxford and $29.99/slide on page #119. Description says leather and man made materials. The "rocker" sole does not look as curved though. They seem too flat in the center. The MBT shoes looked kind of dangerous to wear on stairs though. Maybe these would be good "starter shoes"? I knew they would come out with knockoffs somewhere at some point in time. They got knockoff Crocs and knockoff Earth out. Now the question is; Are these as good as the originals? There is also a free Curves pass for a tour and analysis that comes with a pair of these - a ussles add-on if you ask me. *They also have the fake Crocs with rhinestones in gold, silver or black. Oh-la-la. I don't know if they are the comfy kind like Payless has, or just the look-a-likes like Target has....See MoreMore "fashion" help needed
Comments (27)Love Free People.. but I always forget to look there! Another brand I like is three dots. The same little boutique here carries both. This isn't really the same kind of thing but I have quite a few of these-- I love their versatility and I especially think they'd be nice for you on a cool night at the beach (unfortunately they are really low on patterns right now). I wear them with tanks in the summer and long sleeve tees in the spring/fall. From rockflowerpaper.com...See MoreMore Fashion Talk: Are Leather Jackets Passe?
Comments (39)I hope they are not passé! I still wear this fabulous Bonnie Kashin in the spring. It’s just the right weight. My mother wore it in the 1960s. I had the lining replaced, it had really deteriorated, and the tailor at the leather clothier loved it. Mom had had the sleeves shortened a bit. Sigh. I’m not sure what to do about that, the tailor had some suggestions but we agreed they wouldn’t enhance the jacket. I just make sure I’m not wearing long sleeves under it. Or maybe I should get some long gloves. hmm, it looks a little dumpy on the hanger, but trust me, it’s great and I get so many compliments when I wear it. It has a belt, but I don’t use it. I also have this pink coat of my mother’s. It’s actually got a very cute shape, with the kind of empire then A-line. But it‘s a bit snug in my shoulders and when I tried it on just now, I realize it’s really better on someone 20-40 years younger than I am....See MoreMore fashion: what would you wear to a wedding shower in November?
Comments (122)I won't need a wrap. I can count on my hot flashes to keep me warm. Planning to wear black boots, knee high. I know not everyone will agree with that, but it works for me. They are dressy, not cowboy boots. I have a blue necklace that I got in Switzerland years ago that I will probably wear. The blue looks off in this pic, but you'll have to trust that it's the right blue. It looks almost white here, but it is light blue. Also, for anyone following my earlier MOG dress saga. I am wearing my "original" MOG dress to a wedding in a few weeks. Since I wasn't in love with the rhinestone that was sewn to the V in the neckline, I carefully removed it so I could wear a funky/blingy necklace instead....See Moremtnrdredux_gw
