I love my composite steps because they are not slippery in the winter like wood. But there are necessarily gaps in the composite between the boards so mosquitos and other insects can get in if its used on a porch. So I don't understand the logic of using this for screened porch floors. My dh can attest to the fact that mosquitos go under porches from when he had to do some work under the porch last summer. Dh put some drainage holes/tubes in our existing upstairs screen porch. He can actually close them off with little pieces of chopstick. Helps when we do spring clean up (with mop like indoors.) He has a plan for downstairs too, but not sure exactly what it is. It seems like you could put some thing in for drainage that could be closed up most the time (a hatch comes to mind), Kathy

I live in a very small town and there isn’t a lot on the market, nothing is move in ready, unfortunately!! All suggestions, pictures, diy tips are welcome. I do think the shutters on the right look misplaced and eliminating them would be more visually appealing. I was waiting for Celery Girl to come in with the mock up! Much prefer the white trim and posts and I like the gray porch with your siding as is but if you were to clean it as suggested and it were to take on a more orange tone that might make it conflict. If you are going to do the cleaning of the siding I would choose your porch color after that is done.

Also how big is your house? If it's a 900 sq. ft. two bed on a small lot, your porch could be 100 sq. ft. If it's a 6,000 sq. ft. six bed on two acres, you would want something bigger. Are you in a warm climate where the porch will be lived in three seasons, or North Dakota, where the summer season is shorter?
