Landscape design in front of farmers porch?
Comments (7)I think you meant to say you want to avoid plants that attract bees. (That would mean most flowering plants are out.) What part of the country do you live in? Do you know the plant zone?...See MoreDesign ideas for a front porch and backyard deck?
Comments (5)To start get rid of all the overgrown hedge greenery. As for a porch what do you want it for? A sitting porch or and entry porch? Leave the brick it makes the house and IMO painting it will end up being a never ending maintenance issue. As for the back a deck IMO is not goigto work with all the basemnt windows aso look at doing a paver patio instead and if you want help with that you will need to post pics of the whole backyard. You could add a porch to the front bu hoestly I do not think it suits the house . First lose the bushes then a nice walkway from the street to the font door which BTW we will be able to see clearly once the bushes are gone....See Morefront porch design ideas?

Adding a vent uses the same cut and frame, but doesn't require matching other features unless you have other gable vents that you wish to match. Vents are made in square, rectangular, triangular, round, half round, arched and octagonal shapes. They should have metal screen or hardware cloth on the inside to keep small birds and such from getting into attic space. This can be added if not part of the vent as sold....See MoreDig Doug's Designs
