I am afraid I don't have a really good answer. Some scientist should research the nature of the adhesive that is on those feet, as it is just about impossible to remove short of physically sanding them off. I would use a sharp pull scraper to get the majority of the material off, and then load up a pad sander to sand the little critters off. Obviously, you will then have to prime and paint the whole area to some good cut off spot. You are lucky if the vines haven't gone up and under the clapboards. I have seen ivy do much damage, prying boards loose from the siding.

The backsplash will be removed as it is falling apart, so not trying to coordinate with that.

I just painted 10 chairs, 2 chaises, 2 dining tables and 2 end tables myself. Here are my tips...clean the furniture first with simple green (or 409), a hose, and a scrub brush. Sand any peeling paint and use a tack cloth or microfiber cloth to get off any sanding residue. Get yourself a lot of paint and a plastic spray nozzle so your finger doesn’t fall asleep. I used about 30 cans of Rustoleum 2x in Canyon Black Satin. No primer needed if you use the paint I am recommending. Flip the furniture upside down and spray underside first. Flip it over and spray top side. You should plan on two light coats for the top side. This paint job should last for 3 years, depending where you live. Mine is outside 365 days/year exposed in a coastal climate. Your wear and tear may vary. Good luck! It’s a big project but kind of rewarding.
