What variety is this mystery tulip?

This small tulip has sprouted up in several places in my garden. Both flowering specimens are the same with two flowers to a stem and a rosy colour. The leaves are distinctive, more elegant than regular tulip leaves with a shiny, satiny texture and curve under at the end as shown. They've sprouted even under a brick edging! So I clearly didn't plant them there. What am I growing here?

Can you show us some open flowers? Is it red? The only red multi headed species tulip I'm familiar with is Tulipa praestans.

Here's another couple of pictures of the other flowering plant that I think is the same type. Satiny textured leaves that reflex under. One stem has two flowers, while the other stem has one flower. A rosy shade.

All of your conjectures are very possible, but I seriously doubt there will be any way to know for sure until they come up and bloom in the spring. Even then, be prepared to post pictures and hope for a real expert to see them.

Sorry no pics, but my elderly neighbor has about a 15' Mango tree with the smallest most narrow pencil thin leaves I've ever seen on a Mango tree. It's actually the only Mango tree I've ever seen where the leaves actually looked significantly different or unique. I think most of his Mango trees are just from seeds he's randomly planted in the ground so it could be anything. It's probably at least 10 years old, but I've never seen fruit on it. I've asked him what variety it might be and he has the faintest idea.

Try Tulipa saxatilis and see if it's a match.

Floral_uk I think you are very close to bang on! The variant T.bakeri seems even more likely due to mention of shiny and reflexed leaves. Thank you so much for identifying this charming plant.
