help with wood-look porcelain tile layout please
Comments (5)With that size, you want no more than a 1/3 stagger and it should be random...like starting the rows, full tile, 1/3, 3/4, 1/4. 1/3, full...etc. Try to avoid "stairstepping." It all should be as random as possible....See MoreNeed help selecting porcelain tile for bathroom.
Comments (5)Thanks Skippack. Is very expensive to cut tiles? I thought retro was coming back — a return to the classics... but modernized. Comments (3)When I just looked using "what is" this is what I found. These tiles provide a very clean, symmetrical look, and allow for extremely fine grout lines of 3mm or less (typically using unsanded grout,." I would ask for another quote if the first one did not explain the difference and just gave you a name and price....See MoreWhite porcelain tile throughout or wood look tile behind the tub?
Comments (7)A pony wall isn't big enough to either provide pop or a focal point area. If you want a focal point area, take the wall to the ceiling. And do not use rustic wood look tiles on it. You want something more refined, with a nod to a wood used elsewhere, like MLW Stone's Woodridge tile. You aren't using the wood look tile on your floor, are you? https://www.mlwsurfaces.com/products#collection=woodridge...See Moregfabythesea
