If the lawn was in plane and flat with the patio, would you want to surround it with a bunch of plantings that impaired the view outward to the yard? I don't think you would. It doesn't make any difference that the lawn slopes down. There's still not a good reason to hem in the patio with plants that are obstacles. Yet because of the slope, it's not a good place for turf on account of needing to mow it. The solution is relatively low groundcover. If you want something a little taller next to the patio, don't place it to cut off view. Maybe something could go near patio corners. But keep the view to yard open. A large, dome-shaped shrub could go in front of the blank wall. Decide if you want it to span the wall or leave that lower window exposed. Don't plant it too close to the wall.

What people can get here mostly is suggestions and inspiration. You are providing "inspiration" pictures so have some idea of what you want. It's a matter of organizing it on a 2-D plan. Your choices there are that, either you do it ... or you hire a professional landscape designer to do it. If you do it, you can get counsel here and the first bit you already got was to provide a plan view sketch of the area. (One would have a very hard time trying to convey the information you seek, back to you on the pictures provided so far.) Many people get inspiration for planting via pictures (that are taken square to the building and show the flanking surroundings in slightly overlapping pictures.) But it is too early to bother with planting, since you need hardscape and it must be resolved first, before you start working on a planting layout.

@ A Mat Did you read my post? LOL? The foundation is new, just installed. We are not moving or raising. No, I certainly do not want a run down shed next to my patio. As mentioned in my post,  the shed is being rebuilt with new siding, roof, and doors. Is it the best placement? Maybe not but that is what we're working with. Did you have advice on landscaping ideas to fill the gap?

Decide where you want the table. Then, plan to remove grass (it's a long process, unless you douse with Roundup) in one section. I'd do the front yard to the left. A meadow look is made of a bunch of layers. The bottom is the matrix --- lots of the same plant. You could do moss phlox or a sedge. Then you scatter in a bunch of taller, more colorful plants that are going to be providing color through the year. Spring bloomers, summer bloomers and fall bloomers. You can have a really tall plants in the back --- Joe Pye Weed for example, to hide your trash cans. Culver's Root isn't quite as tall, but I find the seed heads pretty sculptural, so leave them over the winter. Both Fine Gardening and Horticulture Magazine have articles on matrix planting.
