I can only speak to the wolf 36” induction. I have had the frameless contemporary now for 2 1/2+ years. I am very pleased with it. It had the best pot recognition (could put a 4” pot on the largest hob and it still recongized) that I tested - Miele was not available and did not even look at Monogram. I very much like the bridging flexibility and it works very well. Each hob has its own control - you can slide it with you finger to adjust or direct select. The lower levels are close together so you get great low to medium heat control. It does not have the auto timers/shut off that you get with the Miele. Not a feature I have missed but that depends on what you cook frequently. That lack of features is reflected in the price point. It is very intuitive to use as my daughters and friends that show up to cook have not had an issue adjusting as they are all used to cooking on gas. I also like that the Small/Medium hobs are all the same size so you can use pots up to 10” on any of those hobs and use a 10”+ size pan on the large hob on the right. I have not felt “cramped” when I have had several pans in use at the same time. Hope this helps!! I had the opportunity to test drive the models in contention at the time and I did eliminate a few due to the interface controls and pot recognition.

Miele has a good number of steps to select the heat level. 17 or so. Bosch also.

Bosch benchmark was one I eliminated based on their user interface. Nice looking and a good layout. The 2 flex zones defaults to being bridged so if you want to use both at different settings you have to unbridge them - at least 3 years ago that was the case. I did not find that intuitive for friends/family visiting to use. You also had to select the hob and the power level separately. I like being able to direct select the heat setting with one touch - particularly useful to turn down a pot quickly that is about to boil over. The wolf 10 levels (boost is not part of the 10) are not linear but calibrated exponentially so the lower settings are close together where you really need finer control with the upper levels further apart. They apparently did a study to see what levels are used the most and incorporated that into their current design. So far I have not felt I have needed a level in between the 10. Miele is well reviewed on this site - many like their connectivity with their hood - I just have never used it. It definitely would have been a contended if it had been available during my search. At the time it would have been about $1K (about 45%) more so not sure I would have spent the extra $$ for the extra features.
