Unfortunately, I could also email you a list of more than 50 other names that it could be. Don't be too quick to tag something with a name. This pattern/color (violet plicata) is very common and there are a lot of named varieties. I certainly understand the desire to have a positive ID on an iris but sometimes it's just not possible. People bring me iris all the time, plain blue, plain yellow, violet plicata, etc. and want me to tell them the name. About as easy as breeding pigs that fly. :-) I ask them, "Do you love it?" If they reply Yes I tell them to just grow it and enjoy it and not worry about a name. Attaching an incorrect name to a variety only perpetuates misnamed irises being distributed far and wide.

That is so true and you will , I got 3 that look like yours on Lowes reduced rack 2 years ago I can't help with the name, they were only marked china pinks, which is Dianthus Chinensis 'Ideal Crimson' is my absolute favorite, it took everything rural McDade, Tx tossed at it and survived.......
