Go to the lighting forum and also the kitchen forum. There are lots of discussions there. I've had mine for several years and love them. Bought led bars from environmental lights.com. Plenty bright -warm white- dimmable - don't get hot - low profile. And not as expensive as many other options I looked at.

liking the white and light brown ...altho it is light-med brown. I like some of the grain and feel of wood to show....that's just me I guess. Seems more forgiving than painted islands when you get a scratch/nick/scrape on paint....but it seems people go all in for paint on islands. The gray is my least favorite. I'd do a darker wood stain before paint I think. Good Luck.....there is something for everyone these days!!!!

I'm not sure which or any of those are Chinese brands. However, I do have access to one brand of Chinese Imported. Sales have fallen off almost completely after the tariffs went in to affect. They went up almost 30%! So my entry level American made cabinets now compete very well. I have to admit, I am thrilled with this...as I really would rather support products made right here in the USA. The only reason I took on the other line was to be able to offer it and not lose out on a piece of that market. We never had showroom displays installed..just had the door samples available in the back of the room to show people who were in that market. At that time, before the tariffs, they were an amazing deal for someone needing something quick, decent quality and cheap. No longer though.

I have a Maytag. We previously had a 33 inch fridge in the space, but when we went to a SS bottom freezer had to settle for 30. There were few choices. i like the Maytag, but 30 inches sure is small!
