How many bookmarks do you regularly use? More than a half dozen that need to be available? Maybe you should try a different use-flow?

For me, I use few. Many of the regular sites I visit, like email, can be accessed fast by quickly starting to type the word in the address line (like gmail or part thereof) and then hitting Enter. The search engine will pop up the correct result and you're one click away from your destination. It's also quicker to do it this way than going down a list of bookmarks.

I use about three dozen routinely. I usually use the "open all tabs" option for opening those I have grouped in a folder on the bookmark bar according to category (blogs, mail, news, forums, weather, etc.). So it's really not very difficult for me to get through them, since I don't often open them individually.

I figure I can get used to using the browser-based bookmark manager if it comes to that. Just curious if there's something to sync between browsers. No biggie. :-)
