Comments (10)I think using natural stone as your bathroomtile would be much better. I got my new bothroom just recently. Aand I made almost everything made of natural stone in my bathroom. they look so great . stone sink stonetub stonetitle and stone sanitary ware. I got them all from www.chinasink.com stone mosaics tile--http://www.stone-mosaics.com/ bathroom stone sinks--http://www.chinasink.com/ stone bathtub-http://www.stone-bathtubs.com/ I hope you like it. Comments (1)The only things that need sealing are the slate, and if you wish, the grout. You don't need to worry about getting a little on the edges. It doesn't completely keep the grout from bonding. Not by a long shot. But at the same time, you don't want to douse the edges with sealer, either....See MoreMixing Granite with Ceramic/Porcelain Tile on counters
Comments (7)Alright - after much trial and error - I hope this goes to a picture of the kitchen. We have removed the far left cabinet and will put in a black double oven (electric) in a 96"x 33" cabinet. The openspace is 48" and we are installing a 48" Sinkbase and a 36" gas cooktop. Comments (3)A copper soaking tub might interest you. Ceramic isn't nearly as durable as porcelain. I'd keep looking to find both wall and floor tile that is all porcelain for such a heavily-used area as a bathroom. You don't need contrast with your floor in such a small space. Keep it all the same pattern. We just redid our master bath with Happy Floors porcelain tile in a marble-look pattern and are thrilled with it. You can't just move plumbing like that. The whole shower drain through your foundation would need to be re-routed not to mention that wall being gutted to the studs and likely other foundation work for tubing additions. You might as well build on a new bathroom for what that hassle and expense would cost you....See Morekudzu9
