Comments (13)Kathy, Lol, about staying out of the cross-fire. I was always good too. I liked Spike; he was always nice to me. Of course many people didn't feel the same way. You know what really took me back, someone brought up that wayback machine site once. I went looking around. There are a few old pages from gardenweb saved. The forum list is so short, and of course it was even shorter, but those pages are gone. Another thing about the old days, looking at that wayback site, so many people used actual names like we do. Comments (8)It's funny you ask as there is NOTHING around this little one. The closest hosta is a good 40 feet away! Right now I call it baby hosta. lol. I'm very attached to it. I don't know anything about seedlings but I think I may need to research some info on them. Theresa, lol...I'm glad I'm not the only one. Some of my hostas are male and some are female. I don't discriminate ;) I do think most are "male" though and think the reason behind it is that I am a mother to 3 boys, 4 if you include my husband! I guess since I'm a mother to these plants, it automatically makes them boys since that's all I've ever been a mother to! June...she is definitely female and so is Miss Frances Williams. I think their names determined their gender though...not me!...See MorePlease help me ID these 2 very weird looking bugs
Comments (5)The big leggy fellows are crane flies. Not a problem to anyone or any plant. They're just hanging out. As for the 3rd picture -- too little detail to be certain of the ID. Doesn't appear to be a broccoli raab damager....See MoreID this lil guy I picked up from the flea market please!
Comments (2)Hi Dream, it might be an Echeveria Tippy. Then again your plant is still too young to tell, wait till it matures/colors up or have flowers then we can better identify it. Care conditions - like all Echeverias, they need long hours of light to stay compact. Free draining soil to avoid rot, and if all conditions are met, you'll have offsets really soon. Happy Growing!
