HAVE: Daylilies, Mints, Herbs, Pond Plants
Comments (9)Flowers, I checked your trade list and didn't see anything I need right now. Melissa, I emailed you. Pata, Thank you for the offer but I have too many water lilies. My ponds are all full. I'm needing perennials to cover some ground right now. Mintman, I have about 25 different mints, including the ones you have. If you have something else, please let me know. Thank you all for answering my post. I'm sorry to be so picky but my gardens are full and I'm only trading for what I can actually use. I'm really primarily interested in a few showy perennials that are drought tolerant and sun loving. I need them well-rooted, but that doesn't mean the plant has to be big--just some well-developed roots. I'm also looking for named honeysuckle vines, like Goldflame. I want something other than yellow and is fragrant. I have a non fragrant red one, but I'm looking for fragrance for a particular garden. Thanks again for responding. Comments (2)I was interested in some of your ornamental grass seeds that you offer. But I was told that some of the ones I was considering: Japanese Blood Grass Imperata cylindrica 'Rubra Red Baron' Fountain red Pennisetum setaceum 'Rubrum' Feather reed Calamagrostes arundinacea 'Karl Forster' are actually sterile or don't come true from seed. Comments (5)Hi again, If you are interested in some of my seeds, please give me your trade list and your email address so that I can contact you. I am not interested in SASE. I donate most of my extra seeds to my "Seeds for Classrooms" program that I arranged with the local school board and schools (6,000 pkg a couple months ago). Other extra "useful" vegetable and herb seeds get donated to disaster relief organizations. Hope to hear from you about your seeds for zone 3 hardy and interesting perennials and shrubs. Comments (4)We planted ours 60cm apart about 2 1/2 years ago, and now I am wondering why I planted them so close together... On the flip side, some people down the road planted them along their driveway 4 years ago, and they are still tiny, plants that have never flowered. Theirs are planted straight into the grass and never get any attention. Ours are planted into dug-over soil with a thick straw mulch. If the bed is well prepared, you can space them out farther apart. Robyn...See MoreBourbon Milkshake
