Comments (12)Here is my take on cocoa mulch. I like the way it smells, but was surprised that my mother(and perhaps other people) didn't like the smell. It is hazardous to dogs who can die if they eat it. The chocolate smell attracts them. My vet had warnings and it sounds as if local pets have died. Every year that I used it, it got moldy. Buckwheat hulls give the same look, but don't seem to get moldy. However, both the cocoa mulch and the buckwheat hull mulch are expensive. I put the buckwheat in my special containers and put a bark mulch, chopped up leaves or straw in my extensive beds....See MoreBest Mail Order Rose Resource?
Comments (10)Also Antique Rose Emporium and David Austin (bare root). Some say Chamblee's but I know them only by reputation. There is a company called Hortico that carries a LOT of roses. However their reputation as a vendor is a bit tainted. All I know is that ordering from Hortico is considered by many as going over to the dark side if you will. I have the rose 'Canary Bird' on order from them for Spring 2008. I'll let you know. Hope this helps. Kate Kate...See MorePlease post your best online resources...
Comments (1)I usually decided what I wanted to purchase, then searched for the best prices. These were companies I ordered from. Happy with all of them. Ira Wood and Sons - faucets, drains, drain baskets Fiver Rivers - light fixtures. Lighting Universe - light fixtures Ewins - Toto toliets (check for holiday sales) Restoration Hardware - Bistro faucets (big sale twice a year) Ann Sacks Store in Atlanta - Onzen tub, ordered via phone...See Morebest resources for an outdoor fireplace?
Comments (3)Try Adobelite. I am in love with the outdoor models so much that I asked if I could join the company. They are prefabricated, lightweight, easy to install and you can finish the exterior any way you wish. There is a picture on their website. You can even customize to add grills or extra seating. I'm not trying to advertise since I don't work for them. Yet.... If you are near Albuquerque, they have outdoor models to look at. Jenna...See MoreUser
