It is drooping for few reasons: not enough space so it s getting or being pushed out of the way; it is etiolated and possibly quite weak to stay upright. It could have been also over- or under-watered in store. Give it best light - I would put it right on sunny windowsill, so it has chance to get stronger. You may want to consider dividing plants too, or at least pot them further apart from each other. I would prefer better draining mix too.

Strong stems will be able to support themselves; here is one of the pots with too many, they are etiolated, but still very sturdy trunks. It spent winter in kitchen window without any supplemental lights:

You don't have control what conditions they were grown while in store, but you could supply much better ones now. You could prune it if you want, but unless they get better light and good drainage, they will continue growing weak and etiolated.

ETA: agree with Dave below - probaly overfertilized too...I do not fertilize jades, they grow well without. I see all of the trunks bright green - there should be some sign of bark on those stems already.

Where did you cut the branch? Did you pot it to start new plant?

Eventually, other branch could be cut off too, or you could leave it. I prefer if they have some trunk above the soil line (but have few that branch out close to it too) - like plants in Crenda's photo; but you could grow it as is if you like it that way. Crendas plants are very compact - I don't think I have any so nice. You can see what lots of sunshine does :)

I would just assure plant get lots of sunshine now. Further pruning can be done any time later.

You could stick callused branch in same pot - but I wouldn't. That would be again creating quite similar situation - too many stems, fighting for more space IMO. But, as I said, it is personal preference. Callusing cutting is better if kept out of strong sunlight. It will get limp very fast. Shady spot is just fine. I doesn't need to callus for too long, few hrs or overnight is enough for most cuttings. I usually do not put them in strong light immediately after potting, but wait for few days to let them recover.

The roots look nice and that's a good upgrade you did on the soil mix. So with that little snip and more sunlight, I think you are on your way! Remember to rotate the pot every week or 2 - the plants will lean toward the sun and grow bent if left facing the same direction for too long.

I would put the cutting in a different pot. You'll be watering the original plant and you don't want to water the cutting until there are roots. It may work out fine, but I'm always cautious about possible rot.

I started wondering about it since you showed it bare-root. Leaves look very jade-like (Crassula ovata), but stems are not quite - yet. There are few plants that look similar. There is Senecio jacobsenii ofen called trailing jade, but it is much more trailing, leaves are overlapping and flat. Not your plant. C. multicava has different growth and somehow rounder leaves. Not your plant. I wonder if your plant just didn't have time to harden yet? Many plants are overfertilized to get them grow fast and to stores. It looks very much like jade (C.o.), and stems are same as much of new growth:

Many plants will firm up once give proper sun. This is an Aloe pup I found on the floor of my living room after we did some renovations. It was pale, limp and long. It's very firm now. The purple is from high light conditions. My vote is to just leave it alone and let it grow. It'll be just fine.

Here's a Jade I bought with very long internodal length. It's barked up quite nicely. Don't mind the holes in the leaves *shakes fist* dern snails!

Nope, it’s the same kind as Rina’s plant. Young Crassula ovata plants have stems/trunks/branches that are green and shiny, with age they become dull and less green. The older plants then go wrinkled (like we do!) and look more bark-like.

Just one more comparison picture - This baby got plenty of light so the leaves are pretty compact. It is bending because I did not rotate the plant and it is now bowing to the sun. At the bottom, you can see the stem has barked up nicely, but the top is still green.

Plants shown in previous post have been divided and potted separately. It turned out that 1 was grooving 2 stems, so I left it as is and there are now 4 individual plants. I'll do some pruning when they recuperate, in approx. 2 weeks:
