Uba tuba granite
Comments (29)I'm glad to see this thread popped back up even if it was originally started 4 years ago. We are considering Uba Tuba for our kitchen remodel. We don't care for the more exotic granites, most quartz is out of our price range, and we are partial to darker, more consistent, colors. We will have cherry cabinets in a medium stain. I'm amazed looking at pictures that this color looks great with such a wide variety of cabinet colors. My only concern is if it looks streaky when cleaned. Though I'm also thinking that is part of choosing a dark color. I didn't realize it was a harder granite. This is good to know!...See MorePics of uba tuba granite with white cabinets please!
Comments (11)I was posting on the HVAC section of this site about a replacement we are doing for the home and decided to search for ubatuba on white as we just signed the paperwork to have ubatuba put in our Myrtle Beach Oceanside condo that already has white cabinets. We are pulling out the old aqua green laminate coutertops from the kitchen and both bathrooms & are moving into the modern ages with granite. Here is the BEFORE for reference and I will post the AFTER once it's been completed next weekend! This particular picture is a "brighter" than it looks in person. The coutertops are really THAT green and the cabinet's belnd in better with the white appliances that this makes it appear. They are actually more of a whitewashed/weathered look in person. We also have plans to replace the dated tile with the newer 3-foot by 1 foot grey tile...See MoreContrasting Granite w/ UbaTuba
Comments (2)It might take a little hunting to make sure you end up with uba tuba that is the same background color, but I think you should keep it the same. Uba Tuba isn't swirly, so it shouldn't be too difficult to locate something that looks identical or close enough....See MoreSubway tile backsplash with uba tuba granite
Comments (10)Danielle, Sorry I missed your question from last April. Tfox0208, the mosaic tiles were purchased through a local tile company who obtained them from a Midwest distributor called 21st Century Tile. The mosaic is called Shamrock Shake Multi. I have only seen it at one online website. The picture on the online site and the 21st Century is not a good representation of the tile. The Also the picture shows the tile with a tan colored grout. I used a very dark green grout with the mosaic and IMO it looks much better than tan. The tile itself is a mix of clear, frosted and textured glass as well as natural stone and stainless tiles. Here is a another full view shot of the tile The link below is an online site that has the tile. I know nothing about that online company. I paid less for the tile at my local tile store than the online price. Online source for the tile...See Moreahiastate
