Kathy, please read your original post. You said, "I am thinking of painting the interior (insert the 2 colors)." Your next post said the Accessible Beige is on the wall. Not sure what your question is.

She said she has Accessible Beige in her current house. She hasn’t moved into the new one yet.

Yes!! So we went with cottage white because it was free. Any kind of color was an outrageous upgrade and all the upgrades had to be paid for first. We have a nice painter, contractor, etc. So I my current house that we just updated for sale, I have Accessible Beige in all the walls, white dove on my kitchen cabinets, and all trim, crown, doors, baseboards etc. It’s beautiful. But yes, after doing all this, selling the house, getting ready to move, we want this done before we move furniture!! I am so glad someone gets it. The builder painted everything the same color, walls trim fireplace doors, it’s looks like a yellow mess. So I want it fixed before we bring in furniture. Everything starts down there today! Floors being installed!

Mommyniki thanks for being so kind, here are pics of our current house with those colors. They are really nice colors. We sold our house in 6 days cash, $1.6m.....only in Silicon Valley...

This time around trim will be SW alabaster

IMO with the colors in the kitchen the gray would be a better choice but I actually like a soft grayed / green if you must decide before everything is in place a lot more neutral color than either of the others it literally works with everythinh kind of like green outside works with every color.

Patricia with the colors in the kitchen I do think agreeable grey would be perfect. The house gets a lot of light. This is my new couch from Ethan Allen, I just think Accessible Beige might go better with all my furniture? We will be replacing some but not right away.

I really, strongly recommend you hold up paint swatches against your flooring choice before you make a decision. It’s impossible to tell what would be best without knowing the undertones of your wood floors.

Try Sherwin Williams march wind soft and beautiful .i tried 7 different grey samples and most made me feel I was in a battleship

Okay so hardwoods go in today and we move Saturday. Painting will be the following week so I have been given a reprieve and more time. Whew ~~~~

I, too, have accessible beige. I've really liked it for several years now and haven't tired of it at all. Seems to go with everything.

Agreeable Grey is actually a really nice color. I’ll look at it.

I live in AZ. Congrats on selling your house so quickly. Are you staying in a Silicone Valley? The price sounds outrageous to me but if you’re staying there you’ll need every cent for your next one. I agree about using sample boards after your floor is in. Another one you might try is Behr Wheat Bread I have it in my house right now and really like it but want something different it is a chameleon color that looks grey or beige depending on the light.

My granite is Himalaya White.

Beautiful granite! And we are heading south a bit to Hollister. Can still drive in when needed but more country, fresh air! Our contractor said good thing we took up the tile as it would’ve cracked in 2 years anyway....cheaply installed, these builders are robbers

So am still thinking agreeable gray for kitchen dining and family room area, and perfect white trim. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

WOW those floors came out amazing. Honestly after seeing them I feel like you need white or almost-white walls to help it shine. If you don’t like white then agreeable gray is a good compromise.

Thanks so much CH. rescued a white poodle off the hiway yesterday. He bit me 3 times and then was a love! Drove him to the Shelter. So the living room is done. Gray is gorgeous. Am doing silver strand in our bedroom and bathrooms. Then we have to rest a bit....

Is this rug too bright?? Completely different than the pic....I know this table is too small but it was my moms and we don’t have anything else yet. Will buy a buffet cabinet eventually

what is the accent color that you want? it is okay with that rug but you just need to spread that color into the other part of the house.. but i suggest something that is more shady like this rugs.. what do you think?

Ok Mommyniki! If you can get your painting done before you move in, I highly recommend it! You can figure out colors based on your granite, exposure etc. Such a drag to do it after moving. I love the agreeable gray, extra white trim, and the bedroom and bathrooms are Silver Strand!! Gorgeous!! Will post when painter is done. Love these Monarch Plank floors too . Look at the difference! New couch comes this week!!

Looks very cosy in there. I actually like vintage stuff and furniture. Buying a new house is such a responsibility but when you can change it and make everything by your taste is such a blessing. Hope you are happy in this house. I bought a house from badya palm hills a few months ago and I just ended to put everything on places. My interior is darker than yours but I just like more greyish colors. I really understand your challenges. However, I do feel like home in this house. That's the most important thing.

Frank: we weren’t! Ended up selling it within 5 months and moved to a 1983 custom home on a golf course! Year 2 of renovations. Currently working on master bath. This one was just really dated. I do look back on old pics and sigh from time to time. It was done!

Emily I ended up breaking my ankle in July. These new homes are just one big room and hubby got sick of looking at me in the recliner with my foot up! So we looked through this older neighborhood with big houses, and lots and got a 1983 custom home that needs everything!! We’ve done a ton already. Raised up a step down living room, removed 3 floorings, put in real hardwoods, took down 400 layers of wall paper, ..... new windows...still working !
