Potted privacy screen plant advice

Hello, I've got some planter boxes made up as balustrades for my deck, designed as a self-watering style with a water reservoir in the bottom, 2.2-2.6m long, 30cm wide, and 80cm deep. I have 3 of those.

I'm trying to find something to plant in two of them to offer complete privacy from neighbors to about 1m high (doesn't matter if it grows a bit higher, just need that first meter to be fairly dense for privacy, 2m max though).

It's about 4.5m off the ground so would need to be wind tolerate. Gets full morning/midday sun, sheltered from late afternoon sun. I'm in Brisbane.

Ideally I'd like native plants and something to attract birds too. There are quite a few rainbow lorikeets in the area which frequent my neighbors deck which I'd love to attract.

Any suggestions?
