Yes, it probably would work as well as DIF (or starch or vinegar)-soaked cloths. But I can vouch for the quality of the sheets. Looks like they'll last a good long time. Wish I could figure out how to get them to stick to the ceiling. Just me doing it and it's been tedious, let me tell you, getting wallpaper off the ceiling! What were they thinking???

Very nice stuff. I love wallpaper! I was in a vet's office today that had some beautiful wallpaper. I can't quite explain it. Apparently they had enlarged photos of someone dog and applied it to wallpaper, so you walked in and saw a huge graphic of part of a dog that turned the corner. In a smaller room, the wallpaper looked like a photograph of dog or cat fur all over the room. I would love to have that in my bathroom.

Stacie - There are many sources of wallpaper and borders online. You can google it and will get lots of hits; several are at discount price. I've bought wallpaper online with success. However - I'd urge you to give this a second thought. It's not my business to tell you how to spend money - of course not. But you said in your other post: "...bills are due and 50 bucks in the bank. We got behind a couple of months ago and have been playing catch up and it just isn't working." Spending money (even on credit) on wallpaper border is not helping you to catch up. It's putting you further in the hole for something unnecessary. I understand that we all often need a little pick-me-up when we're down, but if you do make this purchase I expect that it'll trigger a negative response from your husband, which you've complained about before. And in this case I think he'd be justified in not being happy about it. Perhaps take the money you'd spend on this walllpaper border and use it for a Christmas dinner, supplies to make presents for your kids, pay toward the electric bill, etc. Just a thought. Good luck.
