I, too, love curtains. I would wait for all of the work to be finished before trying to make a decision. You can then see the whole picture.

is there anyway to remove the connecting cabinet bridge over the sink? that is really cutting off the sight of the window. be nice if it looked like this

Beth H - yes, the wood valance connector is coming out! My problem is the granite - I love it, but it is hard to design aroud. I am thinking of a cream background with black pattern for the curtain.

I don't have a door in the same room. If I did, I would do a pretty curtain that coordinates with the window, but not necessarily the same fabric. My patio door in the next room is bare because our backyard is pretty private.

I agree with grapefruit -- look but wait until everything is done before you buy!

I do not like to put curtains (fabric) in a kitchen due to sanitary reasons. And the good news is most kitchens don't need privacy so it's not something that you need to do.

Beth, in the post before your last one, the third image down, blue kitchen with brown shade, where is that one from? I don't see that pattern on blinds.com, just curious.

mercury,,,not sure. that pic is for the WalkerZanger tiles. no mention of the blind. However, if you talk to a rep at Blinds.com and show them the pattern, they might be able to get it for you.
