Garbage Disposal Air Switch - Momentary or Alternate Latching Action?

We are installing an air switch for the garbage disposal in our kitchen remodel. It seems like most of the options are alternate latching switches (meaning you push them once to turn the disposal on, then push again to turn it off), but there are a couple of momentary action options (meaning the disposal is only running while you are holding down the button). We have young kids, and this seems like a good compromise between the batch feed (which we've had for the last few years) and continuous feed options. We don't want to stick to the batch feed for a few reasons, including cabinet space and the fact that our stopper has broken in a few places after several years of use, which makes it difficult to turn.

Has anyone installed one of the momentary air switches and regretted it? Any options I'm not considering?

Thank you in advance!
