Cleaned an old Saltillo tile floor and grout. What polish can I use?

We have a wonderful Saltillo tile floor in our kitchen, over the course of 20+ family use it has wear and tear and ground in dirt. We had a professional hand clean the floor and it it looks very good but needs a lite polish finish. Can anyone suggest a product? Thank you.

I have use Fabuloso on my saltillo and it leaves a beautiful sheen.

Wow, what a great idea! At first I thought, yeah right. But a search turned up the Steam Team and their web site specifically addresses not only tile, but Saltillo and they will clean and seal (though I have a bottle of sealant...) Forgot to mention that I did try that stupid "as seen on tv" scunci steamer and got nowhere. LOL, it wouldn't clean my upholstery or the countertop. And it barely made a dent in de-wrinkling clothing. I will say it did help the bathroom grout. But not enough to warrant having yet another appliance in the house. So, hopefully the Steam Team will have a super steaming device that will make my tile beauteous again. Thanks so much for the advice!

When saltillos are properly laid, in a mud bed, they are not easy to remove. 1 - Use a small rotating blade (angle grinder carbide blade) and cut through the grout around the tiles you want to get rid of. 2 - continue using the blade and make criss-cross cuts through the saltillos. Whack the cut tiles from the un-tiled side with a stonemason's chisel and a 2 or 3-lb sledge.

I don't have any experience with this stuff, but since nobody else has replied, I'll venture a thought: What you're considering is pretty much a painted floor, outdoors. If this is what the elements have done to saltillo tile, what would happen to a painted floor??? Maybe you can find a masonry stain, & then seal it. I love saltillo, hope you can resuscitate yours!

I have a patio full of 25 year old saltillo tile that has been exposed to the elements, spills, etc., and it shows. A photo is attached. There are no wet spots in the pic - just stains. The area will have light foot traffic and a patio set that will be moved back and forth on the tile. The tile is not glazed. I did seal it ten years ago, but don't believe it's got any protectant left. My question is... What kind of paint / primer (maybe a dark brown color) can I use to cover up the tile and grout? I'm not interested in refinishing the tile. Also, any steps you can direct me on, to ensure the paint is going to stick and not peel off, such as lightly sanding, acid washing, etc..
