There are 3 different Brittannica colors, gold, warm and plain old Brittanicca. That may be contribution to the confusion

Make sure you get a sample before ordering & look at your exact slabs.

While each slab is organically unique, we do adhere to color correctness for each design.

there are certainly grey/cool tones in the main charcoal outer vein, however the lighter thicker “gray” vein is slight cool but can pull a bit warm with the right elements, i think of this as a great wall complement or accent color. Then theres a super thin neutral vein that isn’t the main focus that is in fact neutral, its the element that makes the background color appear to look like marble veining. also the background isn’t a solid white, but personally i like the slight difference when used with white cabinets.

we have also used peppercorn & repose grey by sherwin williams with this same countertop. i also think it looks amazing with a Cerused white oak, you can pull out so many lovely colors it doesnt have to be all “Cool” if you wanted to add more layers.

heres a pic of the 12x12 sample we have… ive seen so many different samples and the pattern has seemed to “sharpen” over the years.

the colors the second photo here are called: white & clay with a white oak sample.

It's funny the sample of Cambria I saw last week was a warmer back ground of white/cream and with a greyge and dark grey thicker streak in it. You can tell Cambria changed their Brittanica from cooler to warmer.

Hi mine is installed. I have The traditional Brittanica -white and grey. It’s gorgeous. I recommend it.

Now to pick a backsplash to go with it.

LP I love my countertop and sinks.

Sinks are blanco silgranite cinder colour. So glad I went with that colour. One of the best choices. I like the large single sink and the smaller one in island. Be sure to look at your stone in person. the Cambria suppliers (many Cabinetry places have them.) My cabinets are BM Simply White.

Don't let anyone kid you. The gray veining may be cool, but the white background, the largest part of the surface, is very creamy. I was all set to buy it until I saw it in person. Took a sample of my white doors with me (my doors are quite white, but not stark white-white) and it was awful. I would have been introducing a completely new element into the color scheme.

Preservation & Renovation, what is the color on the cabinets and island and do you have information on the backsplash? Love the look of the kitchen!

@Cambria What is the best Benjamin Moore Paint white paint color for cabinet to pair with the gray vain Britanicca with marble (not the warm or gold veins one).

Has anyone paired britannica with another countertop? Thinking of using the britannica for the kitchen island nf wanted something complementary for the wall countertops (white cabinets). Thanks in advance!

Hello HU-76998281, we recommend considering Carrick with Brittanicca like the example shown below. We also suggest considering Weybourne, Daron, or Fieldstone. Hope this helps!
