Looking for any feedback on Cambria Britannica
Comments (6)I thought Cambria was only manufacturing jumbo slabs now. The smaller size is only available if still in inventory. If this is a new design, I would guess it is only available in the larger slab. In case no one here on GW can provide you with any photos of installation, you definitely should try to find it in a showroom or stone yard. Does any stone yard in your area have slabs you can look at? You might try contacting Cambria directly in case they can tell you of a dealer in your area that has it. JMO: I have Torquay in my kitchen and I did view about 6 slabs at the stone yard to pick mine out. I am very happy with how it worked out in my kitchen and I knew what what "look" I was getting. It is clearly quartz in a marble like pattern, not a marble look-a-like. The Brittannica is a lovely complement to Torquay and I suspect it too looks more like quartz than a veined stone....See MoreDevastated over Cambria USA Counter Top Brittanica
Comments (39)It looks very fresh and new. You can absolutely tie them together well and it will look fabulous. I know how hard it is to have a vision in your head, and then how sad it is when what you end up with doesn't match the picture in your head. But I'd recommend trying to regain some perspective. No one has died, it's done well, and it's going to be beautiful. There is no way in heck I'd pay money to rip that out and start over. However everyone is different with money and I'm sort-of cheap. I save forever for major projects like this and I've learned one has to be willing to roll with the punches on a major reno. Stuff always takes longer, costs more, and looks a little different than what I saw in my head.......See MoreQuartz countertops-Cambria
