Its that time again folks. The Boys brought report cards home today. Both made all A's.
As a reminder Chip is in 1'st grade regular classes until next year. Tim is in 4'th in advanced/gifted classes.
I can't tell you how proud I am of these two extraordinary boys. In my heart I know these two are going to make it...as in continue enjoying and thriving everything new they face. I see a wonderful and fruitful future for them.
They have faced much heartache as youngsters...mother walked out on them when Tim was 2&1/2 and Chip 9 months to never show her face again. Daddy became too sick to care for them although he sees them almost daily...yet they always have happy smiles enjoying life. I surely did something for God to have Blessed me.

Comments (19)The Lawn-Boy brand is hanging on by a very thin thread. Lawn-Boy had it's problems in the 90s being the stepchild of Toro. Toro did make some improvements though. In the mid 90s they came out with the totally free-wheeling wheel clutch that allowed the mower to be pulled backward with no resistance. Toro also came out with the Duraforce 6hp 2 cycle engine. It was powerful but flawed with a weak 2 piece aluminum rod and a carburetor that caused surging if the moon was in the wrong phase. Walk behind Lawn-Mowers in general have fallen into that hole of everyday mundane ordinary equipment that draws about as much attention as the 200 amp breaker box on the side of the house. Gone are the days of full page magazine ads promoting a company's latest proud improvement like the staggered wheel design or the easy starting powerful little 2 cycle engine. You can thank our government for that. Getting an innovative change in design through is expensive and risky because of liability fears, and the roadblocks put up by the Consumer Products Safety Commission and the EPA. Comments (9)#3 son is a cute kid....I raised him like that. He has a step-son by his first wife, who died a few years ago, 3 of his own kids, and 3 step children by his second wife. The first step-son asked if he could stay with #3 after his mother died as he liked him more than his own dad. He helped a lot raising the 3 little ones. When the second wife and her 3 came along, everyone just seemed to mesh together well. It has really become a good lesson in how kids can get along. But my house is toooooo small for family get-togethers because they usually bring two or three friends too. First step-son is now married, has a step-daughter and is expecting his first child. Comments (3)Our grandson was also diagnosed as autistic. He is now 4 and is in several therapies plus has a special needs teacher in his preschool. He's an only child and my DD and DSIL are great parents to this little guy.
