The challenge with side load garages is that you end up with a long, LONG walk from the driveway to the front door. You'll have an added challenge, in that your garage is thrust so far forward that the destination won't even be visible for most of the length of the walkway. You'll definitely want to engage a good landscape designer to make it all make sense. While you're talking to a designer, it may be worth exploring what paring down the amount of driveway could accomplish vs moving the garage opening. Unless you happen to have 4-5 drivers living there, all with their own cars, that's a crazy Costco parking lot expanse of driveway for a single family home.

I would work with a designer and come up with a color scheme that breaks up all the cedar tone and then use a bold color for front door. Hard to tell in small pictures but it looks like the roof has seen better days. May want to incorporate changing the roof color as part of update.

The only construction change I would make is to box in the stone posts. To my eye they look very odd - just random shapes of stone glued onto the posts. Larger light between the garage doors. Good ideas above. I would just paint the garage doors and trim, not add fancy windows to them. You want to draw attention to the right side of the house, not draw attention to the garage doors.

You have full view glass doors with verticals. I don’t understand what you are asking. There its nothing to paint. You could try window decals. You could change the verticals and do a woven fabric from Hunter Douglas. Lots of textures and colors are available. This woven is called Neptune. It would work with the exterior door frame, close to the color deco suggested.
