Living Room Update Ideas?
Comments (1)That really is a lot of wood tones. Id personally prefer all white for trim, bookshelves and mantle. I think it would brighten the room a ton....See MoreOpen concept – updated dining room to old-style living room.
Comments (6)Thank you very much. I figured it would be better to pair back and simplify things. My husband likes the cabinets but I thought about painting them black or grey, if I can't convince him it would be better to remove them completely. Love the idea about the black frame on the fireplace....See MoreLiving update ideas?
Comments (11)Don’t paint the walls…rearrange some furniture and add new accents. Place the two mismatched chairs on either side of fireplace. Put the red chair in the front corner in first photo. Put the round mirror over the mantel and the art over the chest. Remove all the “stuff”.(not meant as an insult …just find a new room for the treasures). Invest in two floor lamps with trays for either side of sofa; one new lamp for chest…off red to work with art, pillows and chair. And 5 new throw pillows. 3 pillows will be plain…for the three chairs. The same pillow will relate the three chairs. Two with red for the sofa. For the top of the coffee table: something burnished brass....See MoreHow to update ugly bathroom to match my Living Room?
Comments (30)If you really are keeping the floor tile, LOVE the vanity in the first batch of examples with the very deep marble countertop and grayish vanity. I would have the vanity the blue of the floor tile though. The reason I’m loving the thick marble is it plays off your coffee table. Anyways, honestly, the floor looks really old and 80s to me in a bad way. Everything else is beautiful though...how old is your home?...See MoreSandy
