Comments (3)No idea what period you're trying to hit -- but we like the Rejuvenation pieces. Not flush mount, but in our 6'x7' bath the BC5558, 9' in blue is a comfortable fixture when paired with a simple chrome fixture, a lot like the one illustrated on the linked page (I think the Lombard, # AA 9336) They have brushed nickel finishes which are beautiful as well and we use in fixtures where you can see more of the metal. Comments (2)Yes you can do it. Just don't trust that you have the power off till you actually test it. You should put a note on the switch that disabled the power that you may be killed if anyone turns it back on before you finish. The trick is in holding the fixture while you make the wire connections. Professional electricians have three hands or a clever way to accomplish this alone. Test your wire connection by tugging a bit on each wire while holding the wirenut to make sure the wires are secure. If things didn't go well when inserting into the wirenut they'll often pop right out when you do this step. Please explain your fluorescent question....See MoreShow me your dining room ceiling light

When the electrician installed the pendants, I initially thought I might hate them because I was used to nothing across the line of sight. Now, I love my whimsical pendants. I have LED bulbs in them, about 3000 Kelvin because I like that light quality....See MoreJAN MOYER
