Maybe I did something wrong, maybe unique to my other settings - only had one flash cookie item listed there to start with ..... tried those settings... then put them back the way they were, didnt take the time to fool with it. Volume level wouldnt stay set on sites and youtube videos played next, next like a playlist,,, couldnt do full screen on some videos, couldnt scroll yahoo video/news page.

no, katclaws, if you delete your cookies you WON'T delete your favorites. However deleting your cookies will cause you to have to put in your log-in and password when you next go on your favorite website. Those log-ins and passwords are stored in your cookies. A good plan is to back up your favorites to a disk by going to the file tab above and clicking on import/export and following the directions. That way if you should lose your favorites at anytime, you can reload them by again clicking on import/export and importing your favorites back to your pc. No one will laugh at you, believe me. We've all been there at some time.

I have a windows 10 laptop on which I never set up a Windows account, and it has never asked for a password. So the Windows account is the culprit. This laptop has a touch screen, so Windows 10 is a perfect system for it. Yes, I do still use a mouse much of the time, too. Somehow or other, I finally got my desktop back to a local account, and now it is opening with my picture and name and no mention of a password. So I'm happy now.

My mother (with a family of 7, plus friends, grandparents, aunt...) used to bake scads of cookies for Christmas. We were spoiled for choice! Almond crescents, pecan balls, mini pecan tarts, date pinwheels, hermits, jam thumbprints, cut out sugar (with a touch of nutmeg), a cream cheese pastry dough filled with various fruits or nuts (can't remember the name). Sometimes she would make fudge. I am sure that I've forgotten a couple. Over the years I've made all of these, usually just 2 or 3 in small quantity (almost always including hermits) but as the DD grew up and I became prone to gaining too much weight in November and December, I am down to making just one small batch. This year it is gingerbread.
