Comments (1)Part of the "trick" with ANY daaarrrrkk "Cabinet-type" paints (as I mentioned on the other thread...), is the colorant load. Lots of colorant cures-out slooowwwly. Only a few paints are "somewhat" immune to this, the first being FPE's ECO. (NOTE: I'm in ND and had a Euro-Qt. of FPE sent here! FPE's headquarters is Woodstock Vermont. You're pretty close!) It's not like the first coat is going to influence or change the color of white you put over it if you're using a top tier, quality brand of paint. Olympus belongs to the blue-green hue family - it's a blue-green-gray. And I think it's a wonderful exterior color choice for your house. It might not be what you envisioned, but it's very pretty. Comments (3)There is no way any painter pro or DIY can get complete coverage (no holidays) and achieve recommended film thickness in one coat. No way. 2 coats is the minimum to achieve proper color resolution and a proper paint job overall - regardless of the product used....See Morecatherinet
