Front doors tend to be fancier.. back doors are fine with your basic needs.

Seriously, a fancy front door with a matching back door would look presumptious to me. At our house, the back door gets much more use than the front---car in garage and entry to house there and dogs out into back yard---plus my pellet grill is on the back patio.

I would make the back door a glass door so when you enter you look towards light and a view to the backyard

Back door is typically less fancy, but if your hanging out there more often than the front yard, it might be a nice splurge to make it match!

I'm not a fan of glass back doors, unless perhaps your entire backyard is fenced in. Too easy for a burglar. (But Im not a fan of glass doors or sidelites either :P )

They need to be complimentary but not identical - frequently front doors are a little fancier, which isn’t necessary on a family use back door. But if they have the same basic style it’ll work better. (Ex, both raised panel but the front door has fancy glass and a sidelite where the back is plain, that sort of thing. Not raised panel on the front but plain slab on the back if they’re visible at the same time, that would look odd. Likewise a fancy Victorian front door with molding and then a MCM geometric simple back door would look odd.) (Which is almost what we have - front door is original to the house, 1930s kind of Arts & Crafts/Victorian not quite specifically either, back door was moved in the 1950s so it’s totally different and MCM looking. But on ours you can’t see the doors at the same time so it’s way less obvious.)

I like the idea of the glass one at the back to see through the house instead of a wall at the end.

They are two different doors with two different functions to serve. Come up with a solution that meets the functional requirements for each door separately. If they are at opposite ends of a long hallway, you will never see their interior sides at the same time.

My sister has a house built in the 1920s. The front door is a large solid door with sidelights and a window at the top. You open the front door to a grand foyer/long hallway and at the end of the hallway are French doors to the back patio.

Its very elegant but more importantly light floods into the hallway making it feel welcoming

How about remodeling to a "shotgun" house, which has no front or back door, just an open area from front to back? Problem solved, by golly!
