I did grow 'Astrid Lindgren' many years ago, the rose was healthy and attractive and came through my brutal winters when provided with protection. Too much time has passed and I now can't put my finger on it, though there something about it I had disliked, possibly that the petals had dropped very quickly or something. Not to say it isn't a good rose ... though, in IMHO I think there are better varieties to select from.
