If you haven't seen the ad on cat herding, here 'tis!

I have no cats. So I am posting 2 pictures I took of my beautiful grand daughter, Emma. I can't believe she will graduate in May and turn 18. Seems like she was just a baby.

My Christmas present to me. Couldn't resist it at an antique and estate sale shop that just opened at the mall. It's pressed glass I know, but it reminds me of a few pieces of cut glass that my Grandma had.

Right down the street from my house, I was so tickled to find this in front of one of the neighborhood parks! It is a city-wide art installation program in unexpected places. I had seen them in other places but didn't realize I had a 'Monet' (wink) down the road from me:)!

goldblush, I have an opportunity to take a bus trip to the Detroit Institute of Art Feb. 23. There will be a Monet exhibit there. It's a "Party Bus" tour. Ha Lots of wine and cheese, etc. Never been on one of those. Hope the bus driver doesn't partake!

I saw an exhibit in Chicago or NYC many years ago, was there at the museum for something else and just happened to walk into a room with the large panels of "Water Lilies" on the walls. Magical.

A "Party Bus"?! Wow! It sounds like fun! The surprise water lilies in Chicago must have been breathtaking too! I'm always amazed at the joy and the passion I feel when I look at his paintings. It is no wonder, people the world over, want to see them. You feel the rippling exuberance in them. Have fun in Detroit schoolhouse_gw. Would love to see the pictures in February!

Son's doofus cat, Murphy. When we got him, I wanted a cat with amber eyes. He had blue at the time, and I was excited to see them when they came to mature as amber.

My husband picked up this stray about a month ago that was in danger of being hit by a car on a busy main street. It was dark out and with her color, she was impossible to see. We kept her over the weekend and posted her info on flyers and a couple of FB pages, but no one claimed her. We can't have a pet at this time in our lives, so I took her to a local no kill shelter. It broke my heart to do that and I felt so bad leaving her there, but at least she was out of the cold, wet weather, was no longer hungry and was safe from harm. If things were different, I would have kept her in a heartbeat. She was the sweetest little thing and managed to wiggle her way into my heart during the short time we had her. I hope she finds/found a good home.

I named her when she was really young before I knew what she was really like haha She tries to act all cute and dainty but in a second she's growling at you lol I do her voice and she calls everyone stupid. It's hilarious. She's a cutie pie but definitely has a ornery side lol

She's a pretty small cat. She only weighs about 6lbs. She's a pocket Petunia lol

Here is my boy, Rocket. He passed away in February at the age of 15. Hareball, when Rocket was a baby, before he came to live with me, I asked the woman with the kittens to pick out a nice calm kitty and start calling him Toby. When I got the kitten home, he was a hellion and no way a calm kitty, so I changed his name to Rocket! You really do have to get to know them first. LOL Your's is a beauty!

murraysmom Zone 6a OH I'm sorry for your loss. I've lost quite a few in the past few years. Just random things all at once. Age, illness, etc. Rocket was a handsome boy.

And yes you do have to get to know them cos they will prove you wrong every time haha :D We have one cat we named Yuki cos we thought he was a girl as a kitten. Then we noticed she was a he but had been calling him that so long it just stuck. That's the 3rd time we've done that. Ooops lol :)

Doofus Duke on the smallest platform of the kitty condo....too big to fit so he’s hanging out of the bottom!

That's hilarious, dee! You'd think he couldn't possibly be comfortable, but he must be or he wouldn't stay there in that position.

No kitties, but Annie, that commercial is one of my all-time favorite Super Bowl commercials. Love the photos of all your cats. So funny dee. We did have 2cats at one time and they can certainly be entertaining.

I will be like joanmn and post a photo of my DGD who turned 18 recently.
