Christmas cards....

Raven just mentioned on Annie's "weirded out" thread that she no longer sends Christmas cards.

We have noticed that this seems to be the trend. And, some have told us they have stopped. DH still wanted to this year, so I filled out about 30 and just mailed them today.

It's December 12 and so far we received 4 cards before this date . Two from friends the other from business associates ( those don't count.)

Usually I send them out earlier and of course, we usually receive back close to 30. I am thinking people are only sending to those who send them and waiting it out.

All this, of course, doesn't matter. I told DH if he still enjoys sending them, then we will! (I'm Jewish, so this is his holiday.)

But, even he now is wondering if we should continue. Kind of sad.

I think with social media, e-cards, emails, Instagram etc people no longer feel the need to write out physical cards. It's so much easier to post a picture, greetings to all, and call it a day.
