Comments (2)You could have rugs in all three spaces. Two rectangular rugs and a runner for the hall. The sitting room would definitely look more pulled together with a rug. Bigger is almost always better. We rarely see people post room pics with rugs that are too big for the space. The rugs don't have to be identical but they do have to visually work together. Many rug sites have tools where you can insert a potential rug into a downloaded picture of your space. This is from esale rugs....See MoreHelp! Rug placement in living room
Comments (3)Your floor is nice and with the style of your furniture, etc., you don't necessarily need a rug. I think I would bring in an Ottoman coffee table with a pattern and that would give enough visual interest. https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/trent-austin-design-vanpelt-ottoman-trnt3383.html?piid%5B0%5D=41224925&piid=41224925...See Morehelp picking rug size and placement please!
Comments (8)Your house and new doors are beautiful! I agree with getting a rug just a bit wider than the doors. I think a brass and glass accent table beside the doors would look so pretty in place of your current one. They’d repeat the lovely gold fixtures and be a nice balance with the bigger, heavier entry table across the room. (First is on Overstock, second on Ballard Designs ... but a true vintage one would be great, too.)...See Moresondramartina
