That was so good. I am only sorry Chrissy won immunity in the second episode. I so want her gone. I am so glad they didn't vote out Ben. I'm rooting for him or Lauren. It's so funny that Devin thinks he's running the game, he's such a goofy surfer dude. The plan to have Ben play act was brilliant, but I think Chrissy has figured it out from her look at the end of tribal and counting votes on her fingers.

We got one of those for my MIL about 5 or 6 years ago. She started talking about them after my SIL had a stroke and laid on the floor for 8 hours until her DH came home from work. As a result of that stroke she has been in a nursing home and cannot move the right side of her body. Now if she had one of these maybe things would be different, but, she was only in her sixties and in good health didn't think she needed one. So, we got it for my MIL as a birthday gift (it sure makes it easy every year as to what we are going to get her besides sending her flowers) and she just loves it. She and we have piece of mind. We live a little more than hour away so it will take time for us to react in an emergency. It not only works in the house, but, we went outside in the yard and it worked as far as across the street into her neighbors drive way. So this way if she is outside near the house all she has to do is push the button if she needs help. The company is US and their operators are all US based. We did everything online with them including paying them every year. I would highly recommend them. Earlier today I posted, "Thoughts that entered my head --- How long has Zeke been at his current job? I'm guessing that his employer knew before now that Zeke is gay, but what if Zeke hadn't revealed the rest of his story to anyone where he works? How will this affect him now?" After reading the article to which CindyMac provided a link (thank you!), I now know that no one at Zeke's job new he was transgender. Coming out is intensely personal, and no one should have any control or say over it other than the person himself/herself. What Varner did/said was deliberate and decided upon before that tribal council even started. "Malice aforethought," as they say. I know how difficult it was for my brother to tell me he was gay (even though I'd known since he was about 7, he didn't come to grips with it until he was 17), and if anyone had outed him before he was ready to talk about it, it would have devastated him. Being transgender these days is so much bigger, given the political climate in which we live. I just cannot begin to imagine how Zeke felt sitting there at tribal when those words came out of Varner's mouth. I hope Varner rots in hell.

It was very disgusting. How dare they play that card then back off and say oh we were just kidding! They weren't kidding when they were telling kellee about what had happened to them! Right now I would like for Missy and the Olympic woman Elizabeth to get kicked out. And Dan needs to admit what he did, it's on film! And face the consequences. I hate what Janet and kellee have gone through. I loved that Jeff would not back down as Dan kept urging to drop it and Jeff said never going to happen!

From what Jeff Probst has said, this season it will be very different. Normally, Survivor has always been 39 days. Because of Covid and needing to quarantine everyone ahead of time, etc., it's down to 28 (or is it 26?) days. The tribes will not be given any food - no rice, etc. And if a team loses at the immunity challenge, they not only will go to Tribal Council and lose a tribe member, the tribe will lose their flint until the next challenge.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm so out of it I was sure Survivor was on last night and when I saw the Rudolph special was so disappointed!

Duh, wrong day. When I did realize it I was happy again. Now I am double happy.

Hard to believe there's only a few weeks left. This season got off to such a slow start and there doesn't seem to be much that will be memorable about it if they don't do something fast. Personally I hope Joe stays because he's at least fighting and has a personality. I'd rather watch that than a safe group of seven talk about who should go next.

Yes! I cannot remember having this many strategizing players at this stage of the game. Bye-bye boring episodes from a few weeks back--should be a bunch of fun from now on.

Now we are finally playing Survivor! It's never taken me this long to pick my favorites. Rooting for Ben, Lauren and possibly Dr. Mike. No tears shed for Joe :)

I know I am finally feeling like I want to root for someone! I am also liking Lauren she took the reins and is going Gung-ho!

I am sure the cat is out of the bag with Ben's rejoicing so much at Joe's eviction.

It was awesome how Ben just literally stumbled upon the clue and found that idol.

I thought Lauren would be one of the first to go and now I'm thinking she or Ben might win. I want her to because she needs the money and is a really good player. Ben second. Glad Joe's gone and want Chrissy next.
