Just raking leaves. The trucks are coming to do the curbside pickup of leaves. It's so much easier just raking them to the curb than the endless bagging. The leaves are hanging on the trees far longer than usual this year because of the extra-ordinarily warm September. Our yard waste pickup and leaf bagging programs are ending next week, and many trees haven't shed their leaves yet.

I started a different swim routine yesterday, recommended by a trainer I use occasionally to help me work through my sometimes debilitating fibromyalgia. It consists of five laps of steady freestyle, a few seconds of rest, then two laps each of back stroke, side stroke (both sides), and breast stroke, with a thirty second rest between each set. What a difference for me. I will be able to increase the 'mileage' as time goes by. After a swim, I like to shower and change and spend some time on Pilates.

I walked while shopping, got on the treadmill for 30 min. Sunday. Did U know: Home Depot honors competitors coupons? (I don't mean exact item matches, the percentage off, like Harbour Freight). I have an ACE game day coupon, 50% off. In fine print it says "on any item under $30", but they take their meet or beat price guarantee very seriously and just give the 50% off. Yesterday was "game day". There are "LOTS" of Sunday "game days". I purchased a new locking door knob, Halifax Smartkey. It lets you put YOUR key in it and you can change the key pattern without a locksmith. So COOL!

I did strength class at the gym. I had fallen a couple of weeks ago and hurt my butt and the small of my back and yesterday I noticed that I was finally able to put weights back onto the olympic bar when I was doing my squats so I'm on the road to recovery. Yea! I then took my nieces dog for a walk. She was at home when I got back and plied me with really good lemon white chocolate cookies. I suppose I could have said no, but I didn't.
