Comments (2)We had the Wavetouch controls on both the Elux Icon Oven and also their 30" speed oven for over 4 years now. Nary a problem with either. I doubt there is a lot of difference complexity wise between the 2 different types of controls. I haven't seen a post where a "Control board" the CPU board in these appliances (Elux) has failed after self cleaning, alto there have been many posts about those kind of failures on KA Ovens.The wavetouch doesn't seem to be sensitive to finger prints or other "Disgressions" on it's touch surface alto they are pretty easy to clean off. Comments (2)I bought the IQ touch, I wasn't willing to spend the extra $ just to make the display disappear. I think you get all the racks being the easy slide as well, but you can replace the other two in the IQ, I didn't bother, I don't really like the easy slide, I find it slides too easily when you're trying to get something out. The IQ comes with a warming drawer which I like, I had a warming oven in my last stove & used it quite a bit. Comments (97)Jmith, Everyone loads varies from type of fabrics to water temperatures. My loads is all over the place where I can wash my king size flat/fitted and 4 king pillow case with a king size fleece cover in one load to two bathroom mats in one load. Weighing fabrics does nothing but causes extra unnecessary step in doing laundry. Once you do several large or extra large load, the machine will let you how much you can fill the machine without over loading. Comments (6)goyom, yes there is no skimmer. Apparently not needed for negative edge pools. poolmanchuck, thanks for the insight. I agree with you that the $10K is justified for the additional equipment but just asking myself if there is enough value to it. I am thinking about how I am likely to use this thing and it looks to me like a two pump solution may be a good compromise. Run pool jets off one pump and everything else of another pump. When pool jets run they are cirulating hot water and it is a waste of energy to supply hot water to other functions (some of which will very likely be in use when the spa is running). By seperating the pool jet pump the problem is solved. That also means that both the high flow requirements are on two different pumps. Does that make sense? I am still undecided about EasyTouch vs. Intellitouch. Looking for any inputs on if there is way to use EasyTouch and get the flexibility with lighting at the same time without having to pay the 1k or 2k premium for Intellitouch.
