how to reroute pvc piping

i want to place the black pvc piping on the other end of the tub so that wall could be knocked down. Also the wall that shows the pvc and wire is the back wall where the stove is ....crazy design space. so what can i do. the kitchen sink should have been on that back wall. but anyhoo will it work to move the shower head on the opposit end and what is the pvc?

You need a plumber to make sure what you want is doable it is not just that simple.stuff has to drain in a certain way and before moving along waterproofing should be your first issue to deal with after you find out if you can move the plumbing

It's part of the venting system and there are specific code requirements about how it can be routed and offsets in relation to various fixtures. There's not enough info provided to come to any conclusions. I agree that you need a qualified plumber to assess the layout and everything that is connected to it, to determine whether it's possible to reroute.

PVC lifespan is indefinite. The only thing that could cause problem with PVC is use of nasty chemicals which could burn/melt the plastic or incorrect slope or standard blockage which should be snaked out. If you have problems with the line I would recommend a plumber scope it to determine what needs to be done and condition of the pipe. There may be a different type of pipe underground past the PVC that is causing your problems.

There is a tape that can be used, there are also pvc welders. I used the tape when my travel trailer's sewer pipe and the trailer park's sewer connection leaked, the tape lasted for two years, I then moved the travel trailer. IIRC the tape stretches then sticks to itself. maybe you can find a plumber who has a pvc welder.
