I have looked at your post several times and I don’t answer because a lot isn’t right in the room and wall decor isn’t going to help.

Your furniture arrangement could be better; you need fabric, lighting, a new rug and definitely a darker wall color to help with all the brown furniture.

Then…wall decor.

Please don’y tell me I am rude to criticize, because that isn’t my goal. By answering your post, it brings you out of the unanswered never never land at houzz and maybe you will get more replies.

Should you want some suggestions, I would be glad to share.

Get some throw pillows to break up the blocks of brown furniture. Brown is neutral so you can use just about any color.

Find some accessories to put on your coffee table with the same color as the throw pillows.

Then add some solid or subtle pattern curtain panels which will introduce a different texture and add some interest around the fireplace.

Side tables with lamps will also add some much needed texture and height changes to the room.

Then look for some art to center on the wall above the sofa. At this point in your decorating process, wall decoration shouldn't be a priority.

It looks like the sole intention of this room is to watch TV. If so, each of the 3-seaters needs to be angled out from the single seat recliner slightly, so people seated closest to the single-seater can see the TV without getting a major crick in their necks. Haven't seen a set-up like this room before, which appears to be a first-floor common area. Follow d_gw's advice to get a better vibe.

These before and afters are great at showing how adding some fabric to a room makes it look more finished and cozy.
