Closet organizing for my Mom

OK, you can all slap me now for not taking photos. I was at my Mom's last week - she's 79 years old and has severe COPD, so even small projects are too much for her. She lives alone in a 2-bedroom apartment, so she has adequate storage space, but not much extra.

We took all the clothes out of the closets in both bedrooms, in preparation for swapping around winter and summer clothes. We went through each item, and donated everything that either didn't fit (I scored a few nice tops), or that she just doesn't wear. Summer clothes went into the spare bedroom closet.

Then we went through her winter wear, and hung like things up together - long-sleeved tops, short-sleeved tops, jackets, dressier clothes. A few things went into tubs under the bed.

Working together, it didn't take too long - and having everything organized will make her life that much easier. Now I'm inspired to go through to do the same for my own closets!
