Florida Beach House Chandelier

Can you please offer advice for a chandelier to hang in my Florida condo. It will hang over a whitewashed reclaimed wood table.

All furniture in photo been removed and the living room ceiling fan has been replaced with white palm fan. Living room furniture will a be white slipcovered sofa, light colored accent chairs with jute rug. Layering in neutrals and adding color.

Hard to suggest without seeing the furniture, knowing your preferences and budget..but do look at this website's selection for inspiration. They're more into the beach vibe, without being overly into it, if it makes sense. So they have lots of lights, relatively to a site not dedicated strictly to lighting..might help you to see what you'd rather have in your space, and then look for similar if your love is too expensive, or just narrow the directionn you're going for..or who knows maybe just loving one one of these:)

I am glad you are OK and the losses minor. I do question the idea of thanking the god who brought the hurricane, but I will leave that alone (other than the fact I just mentioned it ;-). More seriously, I am very happy you are well. From what I can tell the devestation and loss in the area is so large that it is almost beyond comprehension. I am glad you had the good sense and ability to leave when you did. It has only been a week or so since you left so I wouldn't be surprised if you find most of your plants doing well also. Don't be shy around here. If you did lose some plants, just tell us about it and I bet you get a big green care package in no time from fellow gardeners. Doesn't really matter what your beliefs or where you live, if you need some plants there are gardeners willing to help out.

Yes as havingfun said some do some don't. In my area for some reason September , October and November are the best CL months for furniture ( sometimes throughout the summer) . Once we are in full season the prices go way way up and it's harder to find nice things at good prices. November is pushing it but great finds are still there. If you are lucky you will find that expensive but hardly sat on sofa one has in the formal living room of their 2nd home and out of boredom they just want to redecorate. Normally things in that scenario are priced way to high for CL to start but eventually come down. If you really like something though go and see it to get your foot in the door. You can always make an offer. A low offer will most always be excepted from the person with a van or truck before a person with a car. I have a van so when inquiring on big stuff I mention that in the 1st sentence. If I'm the one selling I always get back with the people who say they have a vehicle that can haul first. When shopping on CL you have to usually just zero in on items individually. If you look at the rooms as a whole you might miss some good stuff.
