I just went out and looked at it a few minutes ago. BIG and beautiful!

So bright, you can't even see the stars in the vicinity of it. I got home late and it was after dark when I fed the horses, and I really didn't need a flashlight....the moon was so bright.

I just saw it (west coast) and it's huge. My son has just gone for a night time hike - he won't need his headlamp. (well, he will but....)

I didn't think we'd be able to see it. It's been rainy, windy, cold, cloudy but I just realized I can see it. From my kitchen window - so we've had some clearing now.

I have a Harvest Moon tonight rising beautifully in the east. The problem is there is a layer of thin clouds that are thickening and the moon is a blur.

was beautiful here, on the east coast.... shone all night long, lit up our BR!! loved it!!!

On my way outside to check out that moon, Dh says, "just go down to the dark basement and screw in a 7 watt bulb with all other lights out, you will get the same effect". A 'romantic' he is not!

Since it is November, I believe this full moon is the "Beaver" moon.
