Paint Design Dilemma entry

Interior door right next to exterior entry door

I just had the front door replaced, the new style works well for our 1940's house. However, it is right next to an interior door. As you can see, they don't compliment each other. The interior door only goes to the office, but it is nice for noise reduction for business calls. (I'm working on painting the banister and the entry rug is just temporary. )

Any ideas how to fix this without replacing or removing the office door?

For example, any paint ideas or paint combos could make it work?

The interior color scheme has a lot of grays and whites.

Don't paint the doors the same as the walls. Should always be the same as the trim color.

I would paint both doors the same color, preferably the same color as your trim.

Thank you! Do you think painting the interior door or both doors the same color as the wall would make this situation less noticeable, or just look strange?

Several door manufacturers have 8' doors as a "standard" and available option but they will invariably cost more given their smaller representation of the market, larger material cost, and just rarity premium. I am doing the same as DLM. Mahogany door stained on outside and inside. My interior will have white trim. Wood floors and some stained wood stair parts, and other wood accents to pull it together. Or you can paint your interior door.

do you like the idea of doing a mcm type of curb appeal? replacing the front door w/something more mcm type would help a black door, these color options, and bringing in some natural cedar or redwood planks, or siding to get the warm wood addition, would look perfect a dark navy w/wood accents would also look nice Landscaping will really go a long way to add some pizzazz to this exterior. you need something of interest under the windows to the right. something vertical. I'd redo the porch steps. maybe take the entire thing over to the right so that you have a front porch area to sit. not exactly like this, just showing you what I mean you could pour concrete steps and bring in cement tile

Unless all the other interior doors are painted, don't paint it.

Imo the issue is the 3 panel style of the front door. It is a common passage door style, so it looks odd next to your 1 panel passage door.

Not an easy fix.

Assuming you want to keep the door and not replace it, I would paint it the same color as the trim, and leave your office door unpainted.

Also, put a peeper in there so you can see who's knocking...

I would paint the office door the same caolor as the entry door whats complicated
