Transplanted a few days ago, now leaves falling off.

I transplanted most of my new little succulents and a few have leaves dying on the bottom. I didn't water them yet since I had to soak their bottoms in water to clean off the hydroponic peat base they came in. Could they be in shock or did I upset them with that much water? I did leave them out to dry a bit before placed in final dirt media. 60/40 perlite/cacti mix. To be fair to myself, some had leaves buried in the soil when I unpotted and it was likely those leaves. I know one (sempervivum) wasnt geting enough light, so I have them under the big lights( 2 T8 32w) now. Also, how do you water succulents? I tested the soil and it drains very well, so how much water to you use? I have them in 4 in pots currently. Each pic is a side view of area leaf came off of, one still shows the yellow shriveled leaf(middle plant) and then a top view. The last suffered the most but most of his underleaves were in soil when I unpotted. Any input will be super helpful.
